About the Project
The Loom Collective is a textile-led showcase by D2C brand Fabric Pandit that brings together handwoven fabrics, craft, makers and communities. Each city-wise edition creates a space to experience textiles at a slower pace, discover new collections and engage with the stories and craftsmanship woven into them.
For its fourth chapter, The Loom Collective travelled to Hyderabad, bringing together a selection of textile makers, fabrics and practices from across India.
The visual language was built around the idea of a textile collective as something made up of many fragments, hands and influences. We developed a graphic system using stamp-inspired frames, references to Hyderabad’s architecture, regional scripts and a soft, muted colour palette. These elements were used across the communication to create a visual identity for the chapter while keeping the work closely tied to its location.
The graphics were designed as a collection rather than a set of repetitive templates. Frames shift, elements overlap and compositions come together differently across each piece, creating a sense of movement and accumulation. The result was a social media identity for Chapter 4 that brought together the character of Hyderabad with the tactile, layered world of textiles.
